Are you afraid today? I know, you’re probably wondering why I would ask such a question—especially in the times we’re living in today. With all the negatives reports we’re hearing daily, in the natural, it doesn’t appear that things are going to get any better anytime soon. Thankfully, as believers, we’re not moved by what we see in the natural. We’re moved by God’s Word, and His Word declares that, no matter how difficult things may seem, God will give us His peace so we don’t become fearful. Isaiah 26:3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” As long as our trust and confidence are in God, we have His assurance that everything is going to be alright. He has promised to always be with us, to see us through whatever hardship, whatever trouble, whatever devastation the enemy tries to bring our way. How do we stay in God’s perfect peace? By keeping our minds on Him at all times. Just knowing about God is not enough. We have to truly know and believe Him in our hearts. That means we must have His Spirit dwelling on the inside of us at all times—leading, guiding and directing our every step. That’s how we stay in perfect peace!
