I don’t have to remind you that, as the year progresses you will face many challenges—some much larger and more challenging than others. In fact, some of the things that confront you will appear so large they will seem impossible to overcome. You’ll find yourself in a position of having to choose right or wrong—making wise decisions or following after the world and doing things you may end up regretting. Let me suggest that, instead of trying to figure out what to do, you use your faith and trust God. As we learned earlier, God has given you “the measure of faith,” which is just the right amount of faith to overcome whatever situation or circumstances you face. When you exercise that faith, and obey Proverbs 3:5-6 by trusting Him for guidance and not leaning or depending on your own understanding to solve your problems, you’ll see God work miracles on your behalf. He will be with you through everything the enemy throws at you. God is about to challenge you with some very uncommon opportunities to do great things for His kingdom. Because your faith and trust are in Him, you don’t have to worry about making mistakes or not succeeding. Just ask Him to give you the strength and wisdom needed each time you’re faced with a decision or challenge, and then trust Him to show you the right path to take.
