You’ve made it through another week. So, let me ask you: Where did your strength come from? If you’ve had a busy week, then likely you’re tired and drained. You may feel like you don’t have the energy or the strength to do anything else, except rest. Would it surprise you to know that when you feel your weakest is when you’re really your strongest? That’s because of God’s power at work in you and the fact that He is always providing you with His strength.  When the Apostle Paul sought the Lord because of an affliction he could not overcome, the Lord answered him saying, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).  “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” The Message says, “My grace is enough; it’s all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness.” In verse 10, Paul said: “Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness.” It didn’t take being a rocket scientist for Paul to understand what those words from the Lord meant. It was clear to him, and it should be clear to you and me also. When we feel weak, we are strong because God’s strength is always at work in us. And because it is, we can be confident that there is nothing we can’t do. As Paul so boldly pointed out in Philippians 4:13, New Living Translation, For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
