  • God asked Abram to do something most people would find irrational.  Some see this request as unreasonable and pointless. But remember, God will never uproot you from one place and not transplant you to a greater place. Speaker: Bishop Fernandez  2/10/19
  • Scripture: 2 Peter 1:3 NIV  His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. The fact that we have the favor of God on our lives, is a reminder that His favor has given us the ability to perform all of our responsibilities on the earth. We all have responsibilities in life, from preteen all the way to adulthood. And we have been given the power to perform well in all stages of life.
  • Language is the greatest and most powerful form of communication. Language is the method of human communication, either spoken or written. Research shows that there are approximately 7,111 languages being spoken today around the world; therefore, it’s safe to say we have 7,111 ways to express ourselves to each other. The way we speak to each other, not just in words but also in our tone and body language can stimulate love or hate.
  • Powerful message ministered by Bishop Henry Fernandez at The Faith Center on 3/15/15.
  • Scripture: Jonah 1:1-10 NIV There are some people who have stopped praying and believing for God to give instructions and blessings in their lives. This is caused by the influence from society and a mindset that says, “If you don’t get what you want when you want it, just ignore that path, and try another path.” For some reason, many people are not satisfied with God’s path for their lives, so they seek for other ways to find instructions and material blessings.
  • Scripture: Psalm 107:28-31 ESV 28 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 29 He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. 30 Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. 31 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! The storm I am referring to is not the recent storm that affected parts of The Bahamas, nor is it any other storms of the past. I am referring to a violent disturbance of the atmosphere threatening every area of your life. It’s the destructive schemes of the devil that attacks every structure of your life that sustains you. Everyone of us will experience storms, as we journey through life. This should not be a surprise to us.
  • Some of you may be perplexed by the thought that there can be such a thing as positive overload, especially when the word ‘overload’ is suggesting that someone is overburdened with the issues of life. Our society teaches us to avoid being overloaded with the issues of life; the suggestion is, doing so will help us avoid stress and anxiety. The fact is, life is all about navigating your way through challenges, and these challenges at times become too much for many people to handle. And this leads to many people being stressed and full of anxiety.
  • As I conclude this series of messages that deals with the favor of God, it is my hope that all of you would become familiar with these messages to empower yourself to live God’s best for your life. • I want to for a moment explain what “Favor” is, and what it means to have the favor of God. Favor is: Approval, Support, Commendation, Esteem, Benevolence. The favor of God is: -God’s approval on a person’s life -God supporting a person -A person being congratulated and appreciated by God -When God esteems and recognizes a person -When God is being kind to a person
  • I find it very strange that Job, the man who went through a horrific time in his life would pen these words in Job 10 verse 12 (NKJV) “You have granted me life and favor, and your care has preserved my spirit.” How could a man who lost everything he ever possessed still say, “You have granted me favor?” Let me walk you through a series of bad events Job went through, and it all started at a good time in his life.
  • The love that God has for us is steadfast and everlasting. Every morning God is faithful in extending new mercies to all of us. Therefore, you should know, that in every situation in life, mercy is available to all of us and His mercies are new every day, so we can have hope in times of trouble. Speaker: Bishop Fernandez 3/31/19
  • When Naaman sought to be healed of leprosy, a prophet of God told him to go and wash in a dirty river. When the lame man sitting at the gate of the temple asked God’s servants for money, he received divine healing instead.
