  • Ephesians 2:10 AMP For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. The journey through life is really about the process of becoming. It’s about becoming who God has created you to be. All throughout your life, you will go through a series of transformation and that transformation is what gets you to be a reflection of God’s image for your life.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:16 ESV  So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self[a] is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. Spiritual transformation is the process from the physical to the supernatural. This process starts with a transformation of the heart and then the transformation of the mind. Although we are humans and must operate with human instincts, we must go through a spiritual transformation to understand what’s happening in our world.
  • Proverbs 13:3 amplified The one who guards his mouth [thinking before he speaks] protects his life; The one who opens his lips wide [and chatters without thinking] comes to ruin.  Your ability to keep your tongue is a sign that you love your life and you want to have good days. 1 Peter 3:10 ESV For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; Your thoughts will frame your words, and your words frame your character. In order to avoid slipping into regretting ungodly behaviors, you must allow the word of God to be the filter of your words. I think we all struggle with keeping our mouths from always agreeing with our thoughts. Everyone must work towards controlling the words that come out of our mouth.
  • A person may find it hard to believe that this world has a good future. When you look at the events around the world and the fact that they are multiple, unstable and taking place at the same time, it’s easy to conclude that there’s no successful future ahead of us. Here it is we have entered the halfway point of 2020, and from January we thought surely by the time we get to June, we would be halfway to reaching our goals. But that didn’t happen and now we are asking, “do we really have a bright future, is there any hope for this world to have love, peace, joy and unity?
  • James 5:16 KJV "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." This passage of scripture has so much revelation about how powerful our prayers can be. Our prayers can heal and restore. Let's read it from the amplified. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another (your false steps, your offenses), and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much (when put into action and made effective by God-it is dynamic and can have tremendous power). There're 3 topics of discussion in this passage:
    1. The connection between confession and prayer
    2. Prayer produces healing
    3. The power of a righteous man’s prayer
We know that prayer is a way of communicating with God.
  • Psalm 51:10-12 NIV 10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
  • Have you ever wondered why God gave you life? Do you even know the value of life and the purpose for the many experiences you will have? You see, if you don’t know the truth about the purpose for life experiences, you will never mature; confront the obstacles; conquer your fears; and most importantly, live life to the fullest. “The ability to succeed in life doesn’t come from you. It comes from God.” Some people may listen to what I am saying and be quick to rebuke me, because this kind of teaching goes against their religious philosophy. But one thing is for sure, you will miss what God intended for you to be and have when you don’t empower yourself with knowledge.
  • John 10:27-28 AMP 27 The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me.  28 And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand. It can be frustrating at times to figure out which opportunity God orchestrated. The reality is we all get confronted with opportunities, but the battle in the mind is to sort out which one requires a leap of faith and which ones we should walk away from. I hope you know that not everything that looks good, feels good and come with bells and whistles, are actually good for you. Make no mistake about it, life requires the spirit of discernment to make right moves; if not, you will make wrong choices. And let me just say this, all of us will at some point make wrong choices, and it’s ok. That is a part of the journey to being mature, wise and prepared.

  • I shared with someone this past week that everyone of us has the ability to successfully get through the challenges of life. We all have our assignments to fulfill on the earth, and those assignments were given to us based on our God-given abilities. Romans 12:6 ESV “Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them.” Everyone of us is encouraged to use the gifts God gave us so we can operate in His grace. The same is true for women; you should use your gifts in the grace that were given to you to be a mother.
  • When it comes to your belief system, one thing is sure; you must protect it with the word of God. This is the only way to avoid being tricked by the many schemes of Satan. As a member of the body of Christ, you must understand that you’re under attack, and you must put on the full armor of God to protect yourself from the plot of the enemy. Satan has many schemes that are designed to deceive you and weaken your faith. Listen! It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your life, God’s best is still available to you.
  • It doesn’t matter who you are, your race, culture, gender or status, because everyone is faced with this global pandemic. This has now become a crisis that affects the world, and it will require a united global response. The global response is, Lord forgive us, Lord heal and Lord save us from hurting ourselves during the journey of life. Let’s not make the mistake to think that the Coronavirus is the only cause for us to surrender to God; there are several areas of our lives we need to surrender to God.

  • Hopefully, all of you will agree with me that everyone will go through different processes in their lifetime. I have been sharing with you for a while now that the process is all about the various challenges we face in life. And these challenges take us through different processes. You see, when you understand that the issues you face each day are a part of the process that develops your character and wisdom, your outlook on life changes. If all of us would be honest to ourselves, we will confess that we don’t understand the reason for God allowing some of the things we deal with in life.

  • It’s in challenging times like these we find people asking questions that at times seem difficult to answer. They ask questions like, where is God, and why is He allowing these horrible things to happen in the world that impact even His followers. Some even asked, “Where is the church, and where is the influence of the church and its leaders in what’s happening? Some people are very discouraged and disappointed that their spiritual leaders, brothers and sisters in Christ, aren’t able to conduct weekly church services.

  • I want to begin by saying, “God wants a good outcome for you while you’re dealing with challenging times.” Challenging times can be self-inflicted or God-ordained.
    • For example, the children of Israel created a self-inflicted, challenging season for themselves that cost them 40 plus years of delayed promises.
    • In Matthew 8, beginning at the 23 verse, the disciples were faced with a huge challenge in the form of a storm. This was not a storm they created, yet they were forced to deal with it. This storm was God-ordained.
If your challenges were self-inflicted then ask God to forgive you; learn from your mistakes, and ask God to give you the strength to get through them for his own glory. And if the challenges are God-ordained, you know that his glory will be revealed while you are going through and after you come out of the storms of life.

  • The last few days have been challenging for all of us. Once again, we are faced with the reality that life and the things it has to offer are just vapor. Today we have them, and in a moment, we can lose them. We can wake up healthy, wealthy, strong and happy; and in a moment, everything can be taken from us. Somehow, we keep forgetting that everything has a season and a set time to exist; therefore, we keep constructing every area of our lives thinking our alternative securities outside of Christ are solid and unbreakable. So we keeping hoping for big things in our future and very little hope and trust in God. I hope you will agree with me that all foundations outside of Christ will ultimately fall. Only what’s built on Christ will last forever.
