  • Your ability to finish anything you are trying to build in life hangs on 3 things:
    1. You must be committed to complete every task
    2. You must possess the desire to do every task
    3. You must have the discipline to prioritize your actions to complete every task.
  • You have allowed people and your circumstances to define God’s love towards you. I’ll take this a step further to say, many of you have allowed society’s definition of beauty, fashion, wealth, fame and happiness to shape your opinion of God’s level of love towards you. So for example, because of what you see happening to other people such as their wealthy appearance and possession, you have concluded that God’s favor upon them is greater than what He has placed upon you.
  • Some of you may be perplexed by the thought that there can be such a thing as positive overload, especially when the word ‘overload’ is suggesting that someone is overburdened with the issues of life. Our society teaches us to avoid being overloaded with the issues of life; the suggestion is, doing so will help us avoid stress and anxiety. The fact is, life is all about navigating your way through challenges, and these challenges at times become too much for many people to handle. And this leads to many people being stressed and full of anxiety.
  • As I conclude this series of messages that deals with the favor of God, it is my hope that all of you would become familiar with these messages to empower yourself to live God’s best for your life. You owe this to yourself, to get acquainted with what’s at your disposal as a believer. I promise you, if you get all 3 messages in the series, they will change your life for the better; and, they will clearly reprogram your thinking, when it comes to your identity in Christ. In each of these messages, I shared with you that the favor of God is upon you, and it is an irreversible blessing.
  • The strategy of Satan is to keep you frustrated and unfulfilled in every area of your life. He understands that a part of your development has to do with a series of life experiences that serves a greater purpose in your life. So, Satan is doing everything to ensure that you live life never developing spiritually, nor physically. He would prefer you to live every day dissatisfied with your experiences in life, rather than living with your conviction about what God says about you and what will be the final outcome of your life.
  • I want to for a moment explain what “Favor” is, and what it means to have the favor of God. Favor is: Approval, Support, Commendation, Esteem, Benevolence. The favor of God is: -God’s approval on a person’s life -God supporting a person -A person being congratulated and appreciated by God -When God esteems and recognizes a person -When God is being kind to a person
  • Scripture: 2 Peter 1:3 NIV  His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. The fact that we have the favor of God on our lives, is a reminder that His favor has given us the ability to perform all of our responsibilities on the earth. We all have responsibilities in life, from preteen all the way to adulthood. And we have been given the power to perform well in all stages of life.
  • I find it very strange that Job, the man who went through a horrific time in his life would pen these words in Job 10 verse 12 (NKJV) “You have granted me life and favor, and your care has preserved my spirit.” How could a man who lost everything he ever possessed still say, “You have granted me favor?” Let me walk you through a series of bad events Job went through, and it all started at a good time in his life.
  • Everyday you and I get to live life, is an opportunity to plunge into the realm of the unknown. If you are like me, each morning I jump up and dive into the day launching into endless possibilities. You see, you have to live your life being optimistic about each day, week, month, year and season. What propels faith is your boldness to take risks in the midst of impossibility.
