I want to begin by saying, “God wants a good outcome for you while you’re dealing with challenging times.”
Challenging times can be self-inflicted or God-ordained.
- For example, the children of Israel created a self-inflicted, challenging season for themselves that cost them 40 plus years of delayed promises.
- In Matthew 8, beginning at the 23 verse, the disciples were faced with a huge challenge in the form of a storm. This was not a storm they created, yet they were forced to deal with it. This storm was God-ordained.
If your challenges were self-inflicted then ask God to forgive you; learn from your mistakes, and ask God to give you the strength to get through them for his own glory.
And if the challenges are God-ordained, you know that his glory will be revealed while you are going through and after you come out of the storms of life.
