God has something special He wants you to do. I know that’s true because the Bible says in 1 Peter 4:10, New Living Translation, that “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” The Message says, “Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help.” Any way you read that verse, it is clear that God wants to use you to bless others—to do uncommon things that will help bring people out of darkness and lead them to Him. But if you’re not in position and prepared to receive what God has for you, you will miss out on the God moments in your life. Ephesians 2:10 says that you, as a believer, are God’s “workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” That means you were masterfully designed—created by God’s own special plan to do the good things He prepared for you long ago. The truth is, you have the ability to succeed and be victorious in everything you set your hands to. God created you that way. You just have to make up your mind that, no matter what, you’re going to do whatever it takes to fulfill God’s call on your life—that you’re not going to miss out on any opportunity to move forward in Him and be a blessing to others.
