If you are a believer, and you’re feeling that your past mistakes and failures have disqualified you from experiencing God’s best for your life, then think again. In Hebrews 8, English Standard Version, the Lord says this about His children, the Israelites: “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel…For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more” (verses 10 and 12). In The Message, verse 12 says, “They’ll get to know me by being kindly forgiven, with the slate of their sins forever wiped clean.” That’s what God is saying about you, and me, today. He looks past our failures, missteps, shortcomings, our fear, doubt, and unbelief, and He only remembers and sees our divine destiny—that place of greatness and prosperity—He has ordained for each of us. When we turn to Him in repentance and renew our commitment to believe Him and His Word, to follow His leadership and to wait for His timing, God is emphatic and intentional in His response of favor on our lives. His love for us is so deep, His commitment to our success is so complete, that He will spare no expense from His unlimited storehouse, and withhold no intervention from the angelic troops who await His orders for us, until His will is completed in our lives. Believe God’s Word, and receive His blessings in your life. You have not been disqualified or doomed to failure!
